June weather has been dynamic to say the least.  We started with sweltering heat and then cool, rainy weather.  Water temperatures have dropped from the high 60s to low 60s in less than 4 days.  But our fishermen have persevered and the fishing has been excellent.  When the weather stabilized the walleye fishing rebounded and has been very strong.  The bass spawn is over and bigger fish have moved into deeper water.  Big pike abound in shallow water.  The largest so far exceeded 48 inches in one of our out-lakes and numerous 20 and 21 inch bass appear on the board each evening.

As we push into July the weather should warm and with that easy fishing indeed
