The last few weeks have seen some very hot weather and even hotter bass fishing. Top-water bite has been good as bass regularly bust minnows all over the lakes. The portage lakes have been on fire for sure. Senkos have been producing well along with jigs and plastics. Fish are very big and have been eating well.
Walleye fishing went through a lull in late July but is starting to pick back up. Which is nice to see. We are in the last month of the season and it looks like the fishing will only get better
